General Information

The Department of Business Administration continues its educational activities each year with 65 newly admitted students. Our department carries out its academic work with 2 Professors, 5 Associate Professors, 2 Assistant Professors, and 5 Research Assistants.

Working life is becoming increasingly competitive and complex day by day. For this reason, employees are required to be more qualified, self-confident, and well-equipped individuals in many respects. Our aim is to educate individuals who can keep up with the changes occurring in the world in order to meet the needs of the business world, who are aware of the responsibilities they carry, who can evaluate opportunities effectively, and who have strong communication skills, and who will become leading figures in their fields such as managers, certified public accountants, financial experts, and marketing consultants.

In the Undergraduate Program of the Department of Business Administration, courses are offered under the major fields of Accounting and Finance, Quantitative Methods, Production Management and Marketing, and Management and Organization. These courses include Introduction to Business Administration, Introduction to Economics, Principles of Marketing, Management and Organization, Human Resources Management, Business Mathematics, Statistics for Business Administration, Operations Research, Introduction to Law, and Financial Management. In addition, students who have a sufficient grade point average have the opportunity to receive practical on-the-job training in the field for one semester by selecting the “Workplace Training” course in the Fall or Spring semester of the fourth year.

Graduates of the Department of Business Administration, due to the broad and diverse nature of the education they receive, have job opportunities in every field and position where people are involved. Our graduates have employment opportunities in both the private and public sectors, including A-group career positions, banks, the tourism sector, consultancy and auditing firms, insurance agencies, and other service sectors.
